Dear Scouter,

Effective January 1, 2012 the Pacific Harbors Council will no longer accept deposits into unit accounts for anything other than membership fees. This is a decision that has been made after much deliberation, and for the good of the order.

Units may continue to charge items in the Scout Shop or apply funds to Council activities *until their accounts are depleted or until Dec. 1st, 2012. Council will not refund any amount deposited into the unit accounts. Please plan to use up any monies you have deposited.

*On Dec. 1st, 2012, any funds remaining (or owed) in the unit account will be transferred into the unit recharter account.

Please feel free to contact the Council if you have any questions regarding this policy.
