Introduction to Outdoor Leaders Skills

April 29th-April 30th, 2016 at Camp Thunderbird in Olympia. The course starts at 6:00pm on Friday and concludes at 6:00pm on Saturday.

Working as patrols, this hands-on course provides adult leaders the practical outdoor skills they need to lead Scouts in the out-of-doors. Upon completion, leaders should fee comfortable teaching Scouts the basic skills

required to obtain the First Class rank. Along with Scoutmaster Specifics, this course is required of all direct contact leaders registered in Boy Scout troops and Varsity teams, in order to be considered “trained”.

The course fee is $35 until April 15th and $50 after. Online registration closes on April 22nd so that materials can be procured. Online registration is mandatory.
