Leave No Trace Trainer Course
This overnight course trains interested individuals ages 14 and older to serve as Leave No Trace Trainers and Outdoor Ethics Guide (Youth). Trainers are the backbone of Scouting's outdoor ethics program, providing instruction to individuals and units wishing to adopt cutting-edge outdoor ethics into their unit programs. Trainers are specially commissioned to teach the BSA Basic Outdoor Ethics Orientation (Leave No Trace 101) Course and to qualify individuals for the BSA Leave No Trace Awareness card.
December 3-4, 2016 at Camp Thunderbird beginning at 8:00am on Saturday and concluding at 5:00pm on Sunday. Breakfast, two lunches, and dinner will be provided.
The length of the course is 16 hours.
The course fee is $80.00. Registrations cannot be accepted after November 20th, 2016. This deadline facilitates the ordering of training materials needed for the course.
