Leave No Trace Training Course
- May 24th, 2017 from 6:00-10:00pm at the Tacoma Office
- May 26th-27th from 6:00pm on Friday-9:00pm on Saturday at Camp Thunderbird
This overnight course trains interested individuals ages 14 and older to serve as Leave No Trace Trainers and Outdoor Ethics Guides (Youth). Trainers are the backbone of Scouting's Outdoor Ethics Program, providing instruction to individuals and units wishing to adopt cutting-edge outdoor ethics into their unit programs. Trainers are specially commissioned to teach the BSA Outdoor Ethics Orientation (Leave No Trace 101) Course and to qualify individuals for the BSA Leave No Trace Awareness Card.
The length of the course is 16 hours.
The course fee is $80 and registration cannot be accepted after May 13th.
